- Letter from Byron Hanna, attorney, to Amon Carter requesting a copy of the letter Harold Ickes sent to Carter on April 18 (criticizing the editorials written by Carter in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on March 26 and 27 in which Carter criticized Ickes for his trip to Texas where he encouraged Democrats not to vote for Vice President John Nance Garner and calling Ickes a Carpetbagger).
