- Description
- Chief Editor Fort Worth TX 4/28/40 Mr. Amon Carter Esq. 1430 Elmwood St. Dear Sir: Tell the 'Blue bellies" to go to hell; you damn right we are gonna defeat this 'foreign advised' regime. The damn yankees even jumped me up. The very day (last Sat) I left for Houston to work - I didn't have it here and I am a master mechanic - the F.B.I. agent a Mr. Wolk called mother (she is 70 has heart attacks, and I left her alone) and stated "he was looking for me" I got wind of it and when I got back he called me stating "it is about a working blue print of a machine gun you drafted" I told him I had (illegible) away the blue print several years ago, and if he had it someone burglarized my files to get it. Well he wanted me to come to his office at his hours even if it did break into my time. I also told him I had started a deal (prior to Russia-(illegible) war) to sell several eletrical devices of my own invention, to Russia; I ommitted to tell him the truth in full. That I didn't have a damned fit of confidence in Washington Patent Officials. I submitted the magneto-compass to the Washington crowd April 1929; it turned up in General Electrics' hands. Figure that double cross! I challenged for a toe to toe technical duel; but not a peep out of that yankee crowd. That challenge still holds, I can prove it with documents I have hidden away. I wish you would consult with Gonzallus about allowing me to carry some heavy artillery; I am not afraid to use it. By God I guess I am an American, my father was an educated Scott and mother a Bavarian, they have relatives back over a hundred years. Very Sincerely, Grady B. Harris. If we don't keep the yankees out of (illegible) offices, well we will be sleeping and eating with niggers. Come to think of it Bill McCloud (illegible) inyour employ knows what kind of citizens we are; ask him about us. Ernest Wood - patent atty will subastantiate my statement about magneto-compass. Observe these church affiliations - race equality is what they are preaching.
