Description
Dublin, Texas Box 52 Amon Carter Fort Worth Star Telegram Ft. Worth, Texas Dear Mr. Carter - Congratulations on your stand for Texas in the letter to Secretary Ickes. It was a grand letter and a wonderful thought was enclosed for us all. Mr. Carter, what I am about to ask means very very much to me. You see, these 3 cent stamps are hard to get hold of and therefore I'm careful who I write to. However, I'm writing this letter asking for a letter in return. Won't you write me just a few lines over your autograph? Please do. It is something I want to keep and be proud of. Thank you sir, and hoping to hear from you, I am Very Respectfully, Will Ray Long Dublin, Texas
