- Mar 5, 1940, Mrs. Carl Ceakins. Ft. Worth, Texas. My Dear Mrs. Deakins: Thank you so much for your kind letter in reply to my letter to Mr. Carter. On the New Orleans trip Mr. Raymond Buck asked me if I would give a program over his station K.T.A.T. No knowing that Mr. Buck had sold this station I wrote Mr. Carter. In reply to my letter Mr. Buck said he would be glad to arrange an audition for me with W.B.A.P. or K.T.K.O. through Mr. Harold Hough. Of course I know any workd from Mr. Carter would be of more help than any thing else so any thing he feels that he can do for me will be deeply appreciated. On Mr. 15th at ten o'clock at the Elks Club Ft Worth. My regular Play of the Month Club meets. I would be so happy to have you come as my guest. I shall renew Clarence Days' "Life With Father."
