- Letter from Amon Carter to John Nance Garner wherein Carter mentions that there is no chance that Garner would lose vice-presidency and that Roosevelt forces needed Garner's support to their chances. Further, Carter says the only reason he was anti-Roosevelt was because he hoped for Garner's nomination for presidency, but now he would work Roosevelt-Garner ticket.
