- Letter from John Nance Garner to Amon Carter wherein Garner tells that he reads Carter's informative letters with interest but he does not have the ability to write long letters and that there is nothing interesting happening in his small village. Garner also tells Carter that he should stop by with his friends at Uvalde on his way to Mexico.
