- Dec 19-46 Dear Amon= As soon as I put this pencil down I will light a cigar sent to me by of the best men I have known Amon G. Carer. Thanks a lot - I will surely [illegible' work in 1947 - Mrs. Garner is as well as could be expected - I am in good health. Both of us send love to you and yours. Your Friend Jno. N. Garner.
