- Description
- Publisher Fort Worth Star-Telegram Fort Worth, Texas. Dear Mr Carter: I sincerely wish I had your skill to help me write my words of appreciation and gratitude for your thoughful message to me. When your secretary long distanced it to me I can assure you I took a new lease on life and my joy knew no bounds. I had received a letter from my brother, Lieutant (sp) John W. Logan now stationed in London with Air Technical Service, telling me not to worry if letters did not reach me on time. That Dwight was well & would write leter. Course I thot (sp) of Dwight sailing for Africa. Their assignment now looks as if they were destined for another field of battle. I am confident of their very success & proud of my Husbands part in it. Some time ago Dwight had written of your visit to the division & of your fine son there too. I have searched the papers for your stories because I know of your excellent record. Now your kindness has reached me & given the children & me great happiness. Thanking you again & wishing you every success in the New Year, I am most sincerely Dorothy L. Aultman at Home December thirteenth
