Description: Feb. 25th 1944. Dear Mr. Carter: - I was in Ft. Worth two weeks ago and talked to your secretary, which I enjoyed very much. I have not heard a thing from Col. Barron and I can't help but worry. However, none of the 2 others who live around here have heard either. Col. Barron's last word was a card dated Dec. 8th. Mrs. R.H. Torrence called me yesterday that they had finally received a date on Capt. Torrence's death. It was on Monday, Jan. 10th. Will you please let me know if you have heard any more from Lt. Carter, and what his last date of writing was. Thanking you very kindly, I am Sincerely Mrs Gaines J. Barron 3200 Ethel Ave, Waco, Texas.
