- Description
- 1307 Ave. H. B'wd, Texas, Mar. 12. 43 Dear Mr. Carter. I don't suppose you remember me, but when you were in London you were kind enough to cable home about my son, Bernard G. Owens. I was working in Ft. Worth at the time. I noticed in the morning paper that your son was missing in action. I want you to know how much I sympathize with you, and I hope he has been only taken prisoner and will come home to you. But you and I have the knowledge that our sons are not slackers. Hope you received good news soon, I am, Mrs. Belle Hodaway 1307 Ave. H. Brownwood, Texas.
