- Description
- March 12, 1943 Dear Mr. Carter - I have just learned of the uncertainty concerning your son's whereabouts in North Africa. From my very meager knowledge of the situtation there, I feel confident, as I know you do, that the chances of his being safe but possibly in the custody of our enemies, are excellent. Let's not for a moment give up that thought. My own son is now in Texas.- in the Air Corps - and shortly he will be in the thick of it. We would not have it different, for that is what the boys want to do. We fathers are just luck to have such fine sons. Our very best thoughts are with you. Sincerely - Bill Littlewood
