- Sat 13th 1943. Dear Amon - In yesterdays Los Angeles Times, I saw where Amon Jr was missing. I wanted you to know he is on my heart & mind & will return with glory for his name. Of course you know Our Ethiel is in Australia, a nurse, has been there a year. I worry a great deal but its what she wanted to do. She has talked with so many of your war correspondent friends. I'll be glad to have any news - and remember I'm praying always for the return of our boys & girls. Always Jessie Dunkerton
