Description
Dallas, Texas. March 15, 1943 My dear Katrine, On two occasions I have tried without success to get you at home by phone. Since learning of Amon's missing in action. I have been able to think of nothing else, and I am writing to you, knowing how Mr. Carter dislikes reading letters, to ask you to express to him, my deepest sorrow and understanding. I hope you have had some word by now telling you that Amon is safe and well. When and if you have heard, if you have time, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know. Am so deeply touched I hardly know what to say. Daily Prayers, and a living hope and faith is me answert. My love and best wishes to you, my dear. Sincerely Ermogene. 4614 1/2 East Side Ave. Dallas.
