- Description
- March 16, 1943 Mr Amon Carter Fort Worth, Texas Dear Mr Carter: Several yeaars ago I visited your city as a delegate to the Financial Advertisers Assn Convention and at that time I was a Vice President of the firm of Albert Frank Guenther Law Inc, New York. Since that time I have gone into another business, but I have never forgotten how very nice you were to me and I still have the hat you presented as a memento of the occasion. I recall that you showed me a large photo in full color of your boy taken while a cadet at Culver. My purpose in writing you at this time is to humbly express to you my sincere sympathy at the great loss you have sustained. I read in the New York Times that "Jr." was missing. With my deepest respect sir I remain Sincerely James Rascovar II
