- Description
- March 17/43 My Dearest Amon, Bill and I are so distressed over the news of Amon Jr. missing in Africa. I hardly know how o express our sympathy to you in your dark hours of anxiety and waiting for any news of him or from him if it is possible. There is always hope, we could not live with out it. Our one thought and hope he is well and can be taken back by our army when Tunisia falls. Our prayers will be for Amon Jr. and you too in this dark period. WE know you are doing every thing you can through the Press in Tunisia to get some word from him. Bill and I are anxiously watching the paper for this news. WE hope it won't be long. I wish there were some way we could be a comfort and help to you Amon. We both send our love and deepest sympathy. Devotedly Ladelle
