- Description
- Dear Mr. Carter, Mother has asked me to tell you that she is thinking continually of Amon. We have always heard the finest things about him. He is so outstanding, and I know how wrong it seems for him to have to undergo this unhappy experience. I write in this way, because I cannot think in any vein except that Amon is a prisoner of the Italians. We shall all be prayng for good news of him before too long. You were more than kind to send mother the beautiful white zazlea in the midst of your trouble, and she has helped me write this note to try to tell you how deepy the entire family is concerned with you. Most sincerely, Lucy Ryan Barthell Saturday
