- Mar. 27 '43 Dear Mr. Carter I've wanted to write you for two weeks since I read about Amon. Somehow I felt it was best to wait, I just didn't know what to say. Even now there doesn’t seem to be anything to say. I just want you to know that I believe, as I'm sure you must, that Amon is safe and everything will turn out alright.
