- Description
- Dear Amon:- I just heard the news of Little Amon reported missing- There is no one wishing & hoping he will return to you more than I. Gene has been in the service three years now & is in the South Pacific at present, a second Lieutenant with the 251st C.A._ so you know my heart is with these boys. I think what fine sons we have. Hove much to make us proud. Wouldn't Daddy be proud of Gene? I am working at Consolidated. love it_ Do all the red cross work I can & keep busy most the twenty four hours_ I want little time to think. I just had to write you to tell you I'm (illegible) & praying Amon will come home to you. I know your heart is heavy now. But is grand to have such fine sons, Isnt it? As Always, Mona Clark Townsend
