- Dear Amon: You have been in my thoughts so constantly that I feel I must express to you my sympathy for you in your anguish and anxiety over your son. I know so well from experience the despair that engulfs a parent when a childs life is endangered in any way. and I want you to know that I, too, pray to Our Father that Amon, Jr. will be restored to you and to our country.
