- Description
- Dear Mr. Carter, I regret deeply that Mon Junior has been reported missing in action but sincerely hope he is safe and unhurt somewhere. Maybe he will slip quietly into camp some night having eluded the enemy and worked his way back. I earnestly pray that he is well and comfortable where ever he is and that he will return to again be joy to you right over here at home. Why such a precious boy should have to suffer in this war is more than I can understand but God knows all things and has a plan for every life. My He give you strength to carry on until your son comes back. You are ever in the minds and hearts of your friends and with such a legion of good wishes everything is bound to come out all right. Sincerely Marie Lupton Friday
