- Description
- Dear Mr. Carter: We are rejoicing with you today in the good news that your son is alive. He was the first boy from our church to be announced to be lost or missing in action and the child Study Bible Class and the entire church grieved with you, and now we are happy for you. He is reported to be such a splendid young fellow and I know how proud you are of him as we are of our son who is "Somewhere" in Alaska. Come to church when you can. Dr. Thompson's splendid sermons are a consolation to all of us who have son's in the Army. Many think his prayer for Amon Jr. was the most beautiful they ever heard. Sincerely, (Mrs. W.G.)
