NO EVIDENCE OF ENGINE OR STRUCTURAL FAILURE. WEATHER CONDITIONS WELL ABOVE MINIMUM. BOTH THE RULES OF COMPANY AND GOVERNMENT REQUIRE ALTITUDE OF EIGHT THOUSAND FEET WHEN CROSSING THIS SECTION ON INSTRUMENTS AND SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS WERE ISSUED BEFORE LEAVING TUCSON ON THE FLIGHT WESTBOUND THAT ALTITUDE OF EIGHT THOUSAND FEET SHOULD BE MAINTAINED.
