I am taking (?) the record (Illegible) (Illegible) but my time is out (Illegible) 5th (Illegible). I had thought I would not try to take a daily paper any longer but I just read your letter to Gov. Ferguson in todays paper and it alone in worth the price of paper for one year at least. I hope you will still continue to cry aloud and spare not. I am satisfied you will gain more and more the good will and friendship of the best people of the state. (Illegible) for the sake of out common country don't resign nothing, not when the Fergusons wants you to, don't want after counsel of the ungodly, hold all you have and get a hold on more of it will be for the good of the state I say hurrah for Dan Moody to , and hurrah for you and hurray for every one that stands for the right. Just continue to strike till the last armed foe expires. Strike for your (?) after and your strike and for your children and your sires for God and your native lands. Sincerely yours, Chifflet, L. E.
