This Letter Written At Sanderson, TX 12-26 1925 Mr. Amon G. Carter, Ft. Wroth, Texas. Dear Mr. Carter: I read with keen interest and sincere pleasure your recent reply to "Ma" Ferguson regarding your resignation as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Best Texas Tech College. Just happened to think you might like to read or even publish a little poem composed by the writer a few days back. Am (illegible) poem to your (?) and (?) to any change you may see fit to make in case you should see fit to send it to press. Certainly want to congratulate you upon the stand you took toward Mrs. Ferguson and more than that, upon your willingness to take your stand before her and "Texas" and in fact, the whole U.S. Might also add I (?)
