- Wednesday, Dear Amon, Delighted have all of your nice letters. We are so happy to know that you are fine. Each night and day we are praying for your return and we hope very soon. Thanks a lot for the nice check, you are so kind to us. Amon we do appreciate all of your thoughtfulness of us. Ailene, Stanley, Bill, and Nonnie say thanks a million. Mick isn't with us any more. He has a defense job in California. Oh! You have one little love bird and Stanley is caring for him. You have e a lot of fish in the pond. My two birds are fine. Your Dad looks fine. Mr. and Mrs. Deakinsare okay. The Smiths ask about you everyday. Ailene says she is holding off marrying. (smile) Always, Mable
