- January 31, 1944 Dear Dad, am getting along fine. Also received *******************. On Dec 29th, received Katrine's letter of Dec 2nd, but since then none latter than Nov 27th. Still waiting for the result of Texas - Texas AM game. What you read in the "cosmopolitan" may sound good, but it's not right by a long way. Have had 30letters from you so far. Love, Amon jr.
