- Nov 15, 1944 Dear Dad, Here are the names of 4 more Texas Officers: Major Perry Swindler, 1510 Palma Plaza, Austin, Lt. Everett R. Anderson 403 N Lincoln, Amarillo, Lt. John W Halland Box 124, College Station, and LT Oscar A Wingren 1806 W 8th Austin. I am fine but we are still waiting for food and clothing from the Red Cross. Have e ordered a Ladies' watch so please have the Bill for me. Glad to hear about 4 bears. Merry Xmas, Love Amon Jr.
