- Dear Dad, I am okay and in Stalag III A, Oflag section. Am really tired and worn out but am all right. Saw Jones, Beasley, Batte, Henry, and Wood on Jan 26th. They should be here soon. Poteet should be home now, also Fabian. There are no R.C. parcels here or anything in face. But don't send clothes, just food and plenty of it. I will be home soon. Capt. Herring here with me. Address is Stalag III A Oflag. Love to all, Amon Jr.
