- Description
- May 24, 1944 Dear Miss Deakin, It's been entirely too long since I last wrote Amon, and I do feel baldy about it, but time seems to fly by. I really had intended to write him a newsy little note every month, but I suppose one once in a while will be better than none at all. I do hope you'll send the letter along to him and that it won't be too much trouble, I surely will appreciate it. I received a letter from Maine this week (Pat Rearson's wife) and she says that they hear from you once in a while. Well, I do hope Amon is happy and healthy, and I'll try to write him more after. Thank you so much Miss Deakin's. Sincerely Susan PS- you may read the letter if you wish, although it's a little too drooly to suit me. I wanted to write a perky one I'll have to practice for the next one.
