Description
My dear Amon, It was a thrill to come upon the late news that some our our Americans have reported as missing in action are still alive. Your son among them, I deeeply grieve with youand now I do rejoice and only faintly perfeice what must be your state of mind. I mingled gratitude and thanksgiving. What an experience! Surley it will teach me to let faith sustain us through despair and in life! there is no death - what lessons we are getting out of this war! I hope and pray your son will be safely returned to you. Young men with such expeience to their credit become the men of vision and with such men to lead our nation American cannot perish. Beleive me Cordially and Sincerely, Lora
