- 509 No. 12th Waco, Texas December 11, 1944 Dear Mr. Carter, I received a letter from Mrs. Jack Clemson telling us about the group picture ou have of the boys in Oflag 64. My son is there also, W.O. Roger Cannon. The was captured Sept. 9, 1943. And he writes as often as he can and he speaks if your son quite often. We would like to have some of the pictuures. If you would tell us how much they are I'll be glad to send you the money. If you hear anythinig, please let us know. Had a land from Roger today drafted September 20th. He hasn't gotten any of his parcels or cigarettes an said the letters were far faster. At least let us know if you hear anything and willl sure appreciate the pictrures if ou can send them.
