- November 15, 1944: Dear Dad, Here are the names of 4 more Texas Officers: Major Perry Swindler, 1510 Palma Plaza Austin, Lt. Everett R. Anderson, 403 N. Lincoln Amarillo, Lt. John W. Holland, Box 124 College Stations, and Lt. Oscar A. Wingren, 1805 W. 8th Austing. I am fine, but we are still waiting for food and clothing form R. C. Have ordered a Ladie's watch so please have the bill for me. Glad to hear about 4 bears. Merry Xmas. Love, Amon, Jr.
