- Description
- November 18,1943 Dear Dad, Received your 23rdletter with copies of letters to the Australian soldiers who wrote you about me. Please let me know disposition of prisoners after the war, how long we get to rest and then if we can go back to our old outfit. Our senior officer, Colonel Drake, wrote Mr. Davis letter last week explaining that half of the 300 officers here have insufficient clothing, no over coats and we already are in freezing weather. I have enough clothes, but no overcoat. How about some magazines in place of books? We can receive them. Am fine. Merry Xmas. Love, Amon Jr
