Description
Mr. Amon Carter: I received the clipping from the Star Telegram and appreciated it very much. I realized you are a very busy man, and for you to take the tim to send (or have send) a boy's mother such news as you had gotten, touches my heart. Like all parents, I grieve for my boy. He had a good jb, the future looked bright and etc. Yet, he left it all and went into the Army as a volunteer. As you know he is with General Pattons Army. They seem to be letting the Germans know they are there on business for much gain. I have often wondered and wanted to know if your dear boy was stil a prisoner of war? Do hope and pray that he was among those that were liberated. No matte what we may , or may not have in this world, if your boys are in such dangers- life doesn't mean very much. Please allow me as a mother to thank you from my heart for your kindness and thoughtfulness in sending me that clipping. Sincerely, Mrs. Anna Foster
