Description
Dear Mr. Carter: I'm very sorry I had to wait so long to answer you letter which I appreciated very much. The business at hard was very rushing and took all our time. I was delighted to hear that Amon Jr. was a prisoner and I can imagine your feelings. I'm sure that many wore those reported missing are safe as prisoners. We continue to receive reports. We got worst of ours back here lately I wish I could tell you the nights I saw. A beaten army is something to see. The destruction was terrific. WHen I see you again many you scould use some of them. If I had not seen them - I would not believe them. Thanks again for the letter. We are doing fine. Morale is tops. Regards, Tex
