Description
Dear Mrs. Deakins - Your letters came today and I am happy that you lie the Deakins candy! Do hope it doesn't tempt yo too much. So much that you'd gain lots….. Me well - that wouldn't bother at all for I could store several extra lbs. Mrs. Deakins after receiing your letter, I decided that perhaps it might mean some relief if I sent that lost card from Amon Jr, on to you So I'm enclosing it when you write please return it as I want all of them for my scrapbook of Amon Jr. I'm continuining to write, with the hopes that some of them reach him, wherever he is? My Polio program is over and I'm quite relived. We made about $250 which isn't bad for Campbellsville. We had a wedding and to see those new dressed in formals- it was a scream. Tried to describe it to Amon Jr, but sometimes it's hard to write , for I can't just see him in all kinds of horrible conditiions and just have to have a good cry sometimes doesn't help matters, but I can't help it sometimes. I do believe that if we all keep praying and hoping, God will bring him home soon. won't it be a glorious time? Until then, any news I receive, I'll send it on to you and may you and his ffamily sooon receive enouraging news soon. Sincerely Marg. E. Harding
