Description
Dear Mr. Carter, Some weeks ago my mother in Frisco send in a clipping telling of your great worry. As a former TCU student and Texas Aggie (before the days of "MA"Fergason) I have known you and admired you for your outstanding work on behalf of Texas and TCU. I am just sending this to let you know that others share your grief. May the good Lord maek the bearing of this great load easier and may thiss great sacrifice not be in vain.My daughter has just married a Navy man and I'm trying to use my experience to make it easier on some young man to get more vital experience tht will keep him get the job done and come back to claim what of this world gives. Having just finished a training ourse, at Fort Monument I am at this Signal Aircraft center. There are a lot of Texas boys I run into in the service. Attended the first Texas Aggies Dinner last week with 25 present. May God bless you and yours, Alfred C. Mcafee Sr.
