The card I received today was dated April 27th, in which he says, " he found Colonel Yarldy and several other officers from his outfit, and things don't seem so bad with some of his friends on hand" He seems rather cheerful, ut wants food. i have sent him one parcel of food also cigarettes, and for mail well he certainly will get that, for I write tons. Thank you again Mr. Carter for the information of my son's location Sincerely, Mrs. Louise Martin I hope you hear form your son often!
