- Friday Dear Amon - I guess you are home by now & I know you are so happy to have Amon Jr back home, & I am so happy for you, I am really anxious to hear you tell all about your trip, & when you get caught up on your work & social affairs maybe you can give Edith & I just a little of your time to visit with you. I really have been home sick to see you I have been teribly blue & restless. When I read & saw the pictures of you & Amon Jr, I just broke down as I knew how happy you were. I hope he will soon be his own self & feeling fine. And I am sure you will be much happier than you have been. Thanks a lot for the pecans have certainly enjoyed them. I received the cable & I appreciated it more than you know. Guess you got my wire when you arrived in Ny. Guess I am asking to much at this time, but I do want you & Edith to come up to the 30th (?) birthday, if you possbly can The (??) so nice since everything is fixed, it will just take only a few hours of your time, if we don't get together on that date, we probably never will as time goes on & I do want you so bad. When you have the time call me. Love (?)
