Description
Louisville, Ky. Jan 2, 1943. Mr. Amon G. Carter Fort Worth Star Telegram Fort Worth, Texas. Dear sir: At this time I want to express my appreciation fro the long distance telephone call, relaying to me the message from my husband, Warrant Officer Clarence W. Stoner, It was such a nice thing for you to do and doubly appreciated as it is so hard to hear from our boys these days. Would you be allowed to tell me the date of this meeting with my husband? I realize the place is a military secret. Am also very much interested in your account of his trip over there, if you have an article or series of articles, in your paper, on the subject would like so much to have those copies mailed to me at my expense. Thank you again fro this courtesy, as it was indeed a great thrill fro me when I received this message. I remain, Very truly yours, Frederica C. Stoner (Mrs. Clarence W. Stoner) 4000 So. Second St.
