Description
January 4, 1943 My Dear Mr. Carter, Yesterday I received a letter from my husband Lt. Col. Groyer who is executive officers of Command A 1st Armored Division saying that your son who in his outfit and that you had never been over there. Groyer suggested that you might be able to tell me where they had been and what they were doing as he count at that time. However, I think maybe since you were there, they have all arrived in Africa, I did have a letter from Amon. The last definite place I knew about was Northern Ireland and if you could tell me something, you've no idea how it would please me. With kindest personal regards to you and your son. Very sincerely, Betty Arrington Sutherlin Box 1334, Alexandria, Louisiana
