- Description
- Wednesday nite Amon, dear: Just had to call you today to tell you how relieved I am to learn Amon, Jr's. whereabouts. He'll be all right, I know. If there's anyway I can write him through Red Cross or send him something, I'll surely do it. God will keep him brave and strong and safe now; he's (?) and will get along fine. I'm so happy with you - wrote the news to Sidney, for he likely doesn't know it. I shall try to get news of Amon Jr's. promotion probability from Sidney for you. We have a nice trip to New York - your mind is much more at ease now - and I have confidence that Amon, Jr. will come through all of this unscathed - If you hear of his definite whereabouts, let me know, for I'll tell Sidney - never know what might help. Lovingly - Jane
