- Description
- Box 435 Tarleton Station, Texas March 15, 1945 Dear Mr. Carter, I suppose you are wondering who I am and what my business is. Well, I know what a busy man you must be but maybe you aren't too busy to notice my letter. First of all, I am Lt. Col. Doyle Yardley's sister. As you have a son that is in the same camp with my brother, I thought maybe you might be able to tell me a little about them. Have you heard anything so from them recently? I am so worried for them and I am very anxious to hear anything concerning them. I do so hope that they have been liberated and are on their way home. You have been so very nice to keep my mother informed about them and we really appreciate it. I would thank you so very much if you would let me know if you hear anything. Yours truly, Juanita Yardley
