- May 3 - 1945 Mr Amon G Carter Kind sir I read an article about your son in the Dallas news saying he had been liberated have you heard anything for sure I feel so anxious to learn about those boys as your boy and my son was in Stalag III A at the time on the 6th and 7th of Feb so I was hopeing they might still be together and we could get some word from or about them I will be glad to get any news that might tell us about these boys Truly Mrs Lela Ziegler Hooks Tex
