- Atoka Okla. Oct 22 - 1940 Dear Mr. Carter: I notice in the Paper, you're going to dedicate Nov. 15 Memorial Coliseum to "Will Rogers." I have composed a song about "Will Rogers" its very befitting of him. If you would permit me to sing it on that day, I should very glad to hear from you The title of the song is "Will Rogers."
