- Dear Mr. and Mrs. Carter, These lines on a piece of paper can never begin to express my thanks for all your wonderful hospitality. Your gorgeous flowers in my (?), the orchids, and the perfume and all the wonderful Texas dinners. I have been completely overwhelmed by all the kindness that has been showered on me.
