- My dear Mr. Carter, please pardon my delay in acknowledging the receipt of the program and newspaper accounts of the unveiling of Electra Biggs statue of Will Rogers. I thank you very much indeed. I truly regretted that the distance was too far for me to undertake the journey though I would have liked so much to be present. I admire Electra very much as well asher work and I am sure you are a real friend of hers as well as recognizing her ability as a sculptress Again thanks and deep appreciation of your great kindness Very sincerely (Mrs Harlan F.)
