- Dear Mr President Congratulations on your appointees in the State Dept Irrespective of the opposition led by Senators Guffey, Pepper & Murray the public as a whole feel they are some of the best appointments made These men are of a highest (?) capable self sacrificing (?) in the service of our country If the US Senate as a whole could match up to this type of folks our Country would feel more assured of our future welfare
