- Mr Amon G Carter Broad Street Fort Worth Texas Feb 14 - 1953 Dearest Amon Paul & I want to thank you for your wonderful hospitality when we were in Fort Worth. Can't remember when we enjoyed being with you as much as we did this time. It was so nice being in your home. Seeing you & Minnie so happy together. It was wonderful to see Ruth again & her precious babies & to meet Amon Jrs. new wife. We loved the New Year's Eve party, the bus ride to Dallas, the football game, the delicious lunch & of course we enjoyed our stay at the Texas hotel in your lovely apartment. Could go on indefinitely thanking you for your graciousness, generosity, & affection for us. We do want you to know we appreciate it very much & love you & Minnie too Affectionately Paul & Maggie
