On reverse: "On the night of September 25, 1948, 18,000 Air Force veterans and their friends packed Madison Square Garden to watch the Air Force Reunion sponsored and staged by the Air Force Association. Millions of others saw or heard the Reunion's air power program through coverage by five major newsreel companies, radio and television networks, press and magazines. James Reed Kilpatrick, Garden president, has called the Reunion 'the greatest show ever put on in Madison Square Garden.'"
